Find Adventure

We have a varied and full program of events all aimed at getting "Kids outdoors" and making adventures come to life ("Adventure" is the theme of scouting UK for 2009).

During the winter we will get out and about on occasions however a a lot more of our time is spent indoors playing games that help us learn the skills we will need when we get out in the summer.

This year our adventures started with a winter camp more details of how that went are in the main pages.   We are going to be climbing and pioneering in February and March as well as an opportunity for people to go hillwalking with others form our district at the end of March.  So as you can see there is plenty of adventure already.

Our summer program is full of out door activities including:

  • Raft building and bell boating on the Thames.
  • Hiking
  • Camping
  • Orienteering
  • Sports for all
  • Bridge Building
  • Camping
  • Out door survival skills

And many more....

If your interested in joining us then do feel free to come down and meet us on a troop night, just remeber its 7.30pm on thursdays during school term time. (closed half terms)
