It is with pleasure that I can now provide you with details of our annual October camp. This will be our second year of holding a green field camp in October. This will be the first year we have invited the Beavers to this camp. Sorry you will not be losing them for the whole weekend, unfortunately rules of scouting will not allow the beavers to camp over night at this time of the year.
The Scouts would like to invite the beavers to come along on Saturday the 24th October for an evening of fun and games finished with a camp fire and the singing of traditional songs.
This camp is on a green field location located on the out skirts of Wokingham, full location details and map will follow closer to the time. We would ask the Beavers to arrive at the farm building at 15:45 for a prompt start at 16:00 to go to the camp location this is roughly a 15 minutes walk for the beavers and we will make it part of their first activity led by the scouts patrol leader’s. Their will be a sing song around our main camp fire from 18:00 finishing at 20:00. We would like parents to pick up from the actual campsite location and not the farm. Any parents who wish to stay for the whole event are welcome to do so, in fact we would welcome a number of parents to assist with keeping the relevant number of adults to children for this kind of event.
